Business executives and dignitaries will converge on the Milken Institute Global Conference this week for a confab of talks, panels, presentations and most of all schmoozing. So how do you spice things up for those who want a little something extra? Look to the exclusive parties around town, like the soiree celebrating 15 years of Global Jewish Philanthropies at The Courtyard, Studio City.

The Grand Ballroom at The Courtyard Beverly Hills will host a 20th anniversary soiree for the foundation that focuses on early childhood education and education reform, with cocktails and food stations featuring the cuisine of Gabe and Lettuce, as well as artisanal cocktails and specialty wine from Aspen Public House. Actress Keegan-Michael Key, who’s been directing and starring in Stand Up to Cancer specials, is set to moderate. He’ll also join the mix when he and tourmates Silas Brown and DJ Mike DiMaggio hit the stage on Tuesday. That night, host Hilary Swank will give a master class on philanthropy, law and lifestyle. Ms. Swank, who currently stars in Hulu’s Hands of Stone, is the founder of the Primary School Initiative, which focuses on improving the quality of education for children in the state of Alabama.

The following evening, who doesn’t love a little business intrigue? U.S. attorney general Jeff Sessions and his boss, president Donald Trump, are scheduled to appear together on Monday evening. With news of Mr. Sessions’s resignation circulating in the media, the event is bound to be a little awkward. But don’t worry, Washington insiders: Jonathan Siegel, a former White House special counsel, will be there for good cheer.

For another excuse to have a gal pal over for the evening, the benefit for New Scholars for Expanded High School Vocational Education will be at Chateau Marmont on Tuesday. The fundraiser will include well-done cocktails with a valet and light bites.

Celebrity sightings can be tough to come by for the Milken Global Conference, but from the looks of things on the app, California is going to be offering up a veritable smorgasbord of stunning, glam, delightfully glamorous ladies (plus one man).
