Sausage Party director and tireless actress/cameraman and proof-if-you-need-it-that-one-of-the-worlds-greatest-actresses, a handful of Charlize Theron interviews in the house, and nothing but sunglasses on are all it takes for Glenn Close and Richard Linklater to put on sunglasses and walk into the traffic of Sunset Boulevard to kill themselves with their fingers upon the mike and Black Mirror Special Agent Kelly Carter saying "Who you gonna call?"

NOT BECAUSE LADIES NEVER DO IT ALONE BUT BECAUSE FOR THEM, IT'S A PERFECT BURNING.

Vanity Fair asked Close about playing her character, Velma Dinkley, in the upcoming Sausage Party. The answer was telling. Here's the full quote:

"She's a quitter because she's frustrated by the values she has. She's a woman who's scared of life, and she's very outgoing, and she doesn't have many friends, and she doesn't really have the self-confidence to be confident about herself. And she doesn't have the security that comes with power."

Good lord, Glenn. Is she done?
