In the latest hospitalisation related to the highly infectious coronavirus that has triggered fear in India, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reported to be suffering from the virus.
In a post on his Twitter handle, the 46-year-old actor who has performed on the sets of "Dabangg" three times, and has previously lost to the viral infection in the past, has said he is on course to be discharged.
He has tweeted on his Instagram account: “It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you all about my being in hospital.
"I am in a still a stable condition but I am being treated for the same, Coronavirus. Please be thankful that I will make it to recovery.
"Thank you all for your patience and support. I am fighting this one with a single-minded focus. Your wishes and support are greatly appreciated."
His statement is against the backdrop of two other actors -- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit Nene -- confirming they have been affected with the infection, which affects people's respiratory and digestive systems.
"There is no one in the world who is capable of trying to fight these viruses like Viral Haemorrhagic Fever which is normally very fatal," he had said in a video posted on his Instagram earlier.
The 48-year-old actor, who is the Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee and has 11 Bollywood films under his belt, says he will continue performing till his body says no.
