Today Wells Fargo has launched a new credit card designed for college students and young professionals.
The new card includes Cashback Bonus Points designed specifically for cardholders who visit college campuses and earn bonus points by shopping for college students or signing up for daily deals at colleges.
The new card offers three different pricing tiers — the Student Rewards Card, the Campus Rewards Card, and the National Campus Rewards Card. The Campus Rewards Card allows cardholders to earn 10 Cashback Bonus Points each month. As a result, cardholders will earn two Cashback Bonus Points each month on gas, groceries, restaurants, movies, concerts, and music, and one point each month on other eligible purchases. Cardholders who engage in daily deals at colleges can earn two MoreCashback Bonus Points each month on eligible purchases.
The Student Rewards Card allows cardholders to earn 2 Cashback Bonus Points each month, while the Campus Rewards Card offers 0% APR for the first 15 months and no annual fee. The National Campus Rewards Card also offers 0% APR on new purchases, and offers 0% APR on all purchases and balance transfers. All cardholders who meet certain eligibility requirements can earn three ExtraCashback Bonus Points on each purchase.
Wells Fargo is offering a $300 cash bonus to students who sign up for a new Wells Fargo student checking account and enroll in a member program. The new card also allows cardholders to get credits toward student loan payments, as well as access to a $3,000 annual discount on private college tuition.
